The arrival of a puppy in the home is not just about emotions and cute photos on social networks, but also a complete reorganization of your daily life. To ensure that the baby’s adaptation goes smoothly and your apartment does not suffer, preparation should begin a few days before the arrival of the new family member. Use this checklist so you don’t forget anything.

Security: looking at the home through the eyes of a dog

A puppy perceives the world through touch and taste. What is an ordinary thing for you is a dangerous toy for them.

“Electrical diet”: All wires must be lifted to a height or hidden in cable channels. Chewing live wires is the most common cause of domestic injury in dogs.

Chemical control: Household chemicals, medicines, flower fertilizers, and rodent poison must be located in inaccessible places (on upper shelves or in cabinets with locks).
